Developer Terms of Service

1. API and Developer Access

These Developer Terms of Service ("Developer Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("Developer", "you") and ds.click ("Operator", "we") governing your use of our API, OAuth services, and related developer tools (the "Developer Services").

By creating a Developer Team, generating an API Key, or registering an OAuth Application, you agree to these Developer Terms in addition to our standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Account and Security

  • Confidentiality: You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and OAuth Client Secrets. You must not expose them in public repositories or client-side code.
  • Enterprise Limits: Each developer is limited to creating 5 Enterprise Teams.
  • Revocation: We reserve the right to instantly revoke any API key or OAuth credential that is leaked or suspected of being compromised.

3. Rate Limiting and Fair Use

You must respect the rate limits imposed by the Developer Services. Circumventing rate limits, creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions, or submitting excessively heavy payloads is strictly prohibited.

If your application causes instability to our platform, we may temporarily or permanently suspend your access without warning.

4. OAuth Application Requirements

If you integrate ds.click via OAuth 2.0:

  • You must clearly disclose to users how their ds.click data will be used.
  • You must not request scopes you do not need.
  • You may not use user data obtained via OAuth for advertising, selling to third-party data brokers, or any purpose other than what the user explicitly authorized.

5. Modifications and Termination

We may modify the Developer Services or these Developer Terms at any time. We will attempt to notify developers of breaking changes, but cannot guarantee advance notice.

We reserve the right to terminate your Developer Access at our sole discretion if we determine your application violates these terms, harms our users, or misuses our infrastructure.
